Friendship as a Saviour of Breath

The world is riddled with confusion, chaos, unwanted, unexpected and the not so pleasing circumstances. At the same time, life is beautiful. It is studded with pearls like friendship, love, brigand, relationships and mutual efforts that yield inspiring outcomes. As the old adage says: ‘Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’. In my opinion, ‘inspiration’ is dependent upon the potential or the modality that an inspiring source engenders within a human soul. Something small yet powerful. Simple but miraculous. A power transcending through darkness, but covering you with light till your visual range.

While haphazardly scrolling down my facebook feed, I came across this photograph on the page named ‘General Knowledge (Did You Know)’:

The abandoned monkey who has found love with a pigeon.

This 12-week-old macaque – who was abandoned by his mother – was close to death when it was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province. 

After being taken to an animal hospital his health began to improve but he seemed spiritless – until he developed a friendship with a white pigeon.

This explains friendship as a life-saving bond as it rekindles the spirit of living. It is a saviour of breath. Look closely into the eyes of this cute little monkey and see the warmth of amiability, affection and care. It did inspire me!
